The Morizumi spoke cutting and threading machine (SCT) is the best remedy for broken spokes. We can cut any length or gauge. We use Taiwan stainless steel Pillar spokes and nickel-plated brass nipples for optimum strength.
There are some great tools on the web to calculate spoke lengths. One that we use regularly for motorized hubs is from Grin Technologies, and you can use it here.
